Verification Policy

Purpose

The Bidrit Seller Verification Policy establishes the standards, procedures, and ongoing requirements for becoming and remaining a Bidrit Verified Seller.

Verification does not guarantee that a seller or vehicle is perfect. Rather, it confirms that the seller has successfully met Bidrit’s verification requirements and continues to operate in accordance with Bidrit’s Trust Standards.

Verification is a privilege that must be earned and maintained.

1. Verification Principles

Every Bidrit verification decision is guided by five principles:

• Identity
• Legitimacy
• Transparency
• Accountability
• Consistency

A seller must satisfy these principles before being admitted to the Bidrit platform.

2. Minimum Verification Requirements

To become a Bidrit Verified Seller, applicants must provide, where applicable:

Business Information

• Registered business name (if applicable)
• Business address
• Contact information
• Business logo or trading identity

Identity Verification

• Valid government-issued identification
• Selfie or identity confirmation where required
• Authorized representative information (for businesses)

Business Verification

• Evidence of operating a legitimate vehicle sales business
• Physical business location or showroom (where applicable)
• Verification interview or assessment by Bidrit

Contact Verification

• Verified phone number
• Verified email address

Bidrit may request additional information where necessary.

3. Verification Review

Verification is not automatic. Every application is reviewed by Bidrit before approval. Bidrit reserves the right to:

• Request additional documentation.
• Conduct physical or virtual verification.
• Reject applications that do not meet Bidrit standards.
• Delay approval pending further investigation.

4. Verification Badge

Approved sellers will receive the Bidrit Verified badge. The badge signifies that the seller has completed Bidrit’s verification process.

The badge must not be copied, altered, or used outside the Bidrit platform without written permission.

5. Ongoing Compliance

Verification does not end after approval. Verified sellers must continue to:

• Maintain accurate business information.
• Operate honestly.
• Comply with Bidrit policies.
• Respond to customer concerns.
• Cooperate during compliance reviews.

Failure to maintain these standards may result in review or suspension.

6. Periodic Re-Verification

Bidrit may conduct re-verification at any time to ensure information remains accurate. Re-verification may include:

• Identity confirmation
• Business information updates
• Address verification
• Compliance review
• Performance assessment

Sellers who fail re-verification may temporarily lose their verified status until the review is completed.

7. Verification Suspension

Verification may be suspended where Bidrit reasonably believes that:

• Information provided is inaccurate.
• Fraud is suspected.
• Serious customer complaints remain unresolved.
• Required documents have expired.
• The seller refuses to cooperate with Bidrit.

During suspension, Bidrit may restrict listings or temporarily remove the verification badge.

8. Verification Revocation

Bidrit may permanently revoke verification where a seller:

• Commits fraud.
• Uses forged documentation.
• Intentionally deceives buyers.
• Repeatedly violates Bidrit policies.
• Sells stolen or illegally obtained vehicles.
• Seriously damages the integrity of the Bidrit marketplace.

Revocation may also result in permanent removal from the platform.

9. Appeals

Sellers may request a review of verification decisions. Appeals must include relevant supporting information or documentation. Bidrit will review each appeal fairly and communicate its final decision after completing its assessment.

10. Bidrit’s Commitment

Bidrit is committed to applying verification standards consistently, fairly, and without favour. Verification decisions are based on evidence, compliance with Bidrit policies, and the long-term integrity of the platform.

No seller may purchase, influence, or negotiate verification status. Verification is earned through compliance—not payment.
