Purpose
The Bidrit Trust Index is Bidrit’s proprietary reputation system designed to measure and communicate the trustworthiness of every verified seller on the platform.
Unlike traditional star ratings, the Bidrit Trust Index is built on objective performance, verified customer experiences, policy compliance, and long-term consistency.
Its purpose is to help buyers make informed decisions and to reward sellers who continuously uphold Bidrit’s Trust Standards.
Guiding Principles
The Bidrit Trust Index is founded on five principles:
- Trust is earned, not given.
- Reputation is built over time.
- Transparency builds confidence.
- Consistency matters more than perfection.
- Trust can be strengthened or weakened through every transaction.
Eligibility
A seller does not receive a Trust Index immediately after verification. A Trust Index becomes available only after the seller has met Bidrit’s minimum reputation requirements, including:
- Active Bidrit Verification
- Minimum completed transactions (configurable by Bidrit)
- Minimum verified buyer reviews
- No unresolved serious compliance violations
Until then, the seller profile will display: Trust Status: Building Reputation
Trust Index Scale
Every eligible seller receives a Trust Index between 0 and 100.
Excellent (90–100)
Consistently demonstrates exceptional honesty, customer satisfaction, and compliance.
