Every seller on Bidrit represents not only their business but also the reputation of the Bidrit platform. Buyers choose Bidrit because they believe the platform is committed to honesty, transparency, and accountability.
This Code of Conduct defines the standards every seller must follow to remain part of the Bidrit network.
1. Eligibility
To sell on Bidrit, every seller must:
- Operate a legitimate vehicle sales business.
- Complete Bidrit’s verification process.
- Provide accurate business information.
- Agree to comply with all Bidrit policies.
Admission to Bidrit is by approval only and may be refused where trust standards are not met.
2. Honesty and Transparency
Sellers must present truthful and complete information at all times. Sellers shall not intentionally misrepresent:
- Vehicle condition
- Model year
- Mileage
- Accident history
- Mechanical condition
- Ownership history
- Import status
- Vehicle specifications
- Service history
- Vehicle documentation
Any known defect capable of influencing a buyer’s decision must be disclosed before a sale.
3. Authentic Listings
Every listing must represent the actual vehicle being offered. Sellers must not:
- Use stock images
- Use images from another vehicle
- Upload misleading photographs
- Advertise unavailable vehicles solely to attract enquiries
- Duplicate listings to manipulate search visibility
4. Professional Conduct
Sellers must conduct themselves professionally in every interaction. Sellers shall:
- Treat buyers respectfully.
- Respond within a reasonable time.
- Avoid abusive or misleading communication.
- Honour agreed appointments where possible.
- Conduct business ethically.
5. Pricing Integrity
Prices displayed on Bidrit must reflect genuine selling prices. Sellers may not:
- Publish intentionally misleading prices.
- Add undisclosed mandatory charges.
- Use deceptive pricing to generate enquiries.
6. Legal Compliance
Sellers must only advertise vehicles they are legally entitled to sell. Prohibited listings include:
- Stolen vehicles
- Fraudulent vehicles
- Cloned vehicles
- Vehicles with forged documentation
- Vehicles sold without lawful authority
7. Cooperation with Bidrit
Sellers agree to cooperate with Bidrit in matters including:
- Verification
- Customer complaints
- Compliance reviews
- Fraud investigations
- Requests for supporting documentation
Failure to cooperate may result in suspension.
8. Customer Complaints
Sellers are expected to engage constructively in resolving customer concerns. Bidrit reserves the right to investigate complaints and request supporting evidence from both parties before making a determination.
9. Trust Comes Before Sales
Bidrit values long-term trust over short-term transactions. Sellers understand that protecting buyers protects the entire marketplace and strengthens confidence in every verified seller.
10. Enforcement
Where Bidrit determines that a seller has breached this Code of Conduct, Bidrit may take one or more of the following actions:
- Issue a warning.
- Remove listings.
- Reduce the seller’s Trust Index.
- Suspend account privileges.
- Permanently remove the seller from the platform.
The severity of enforcement will depend on the nature and frequency of the violation.
11. Zero-Tolerance Violations
The following may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal:
- Fraud
- Forged documents
- Identity misrepresentation
- Sale of stolen vehicles
- Deliberate concealment of major defects
- Manipulation of reviews or ratings
- Bribery or attempted corruption
- Repeated dishonest conduct

By joining Bidrit, you acknowledge that trust is earned through consistent honesty, professionalism, and transparency. You agree to uphold these standards and understand that continued access to the Bidrit platform depends on maintaining them.
